Georgia to record song & music video for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Atherton Pictures to Shoot Music Video

AUSTIN, TX (April 19, 2010) – Atherton Pictures will shoot a music video this week featuring up and coming singer Georgia Napolitano for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The Austin chapter of JDRF has hired Atherton Pictures for the second consecutive year to produce the “Fund A Cure” video for its annual Hope Ball.

Online High School helps young professional pursue academic success

Georgia Napolitano is a very active teenager with both a growing professional career as a singer and a commitment to fulfilling charitable works in her community. In 2009 she spent her summer as a finalist with the Six Flags “Fame” National Talent Search performing at various parks while also initiating and launching the Teens4Autism charity. Her high-profile achievements led Mayor Lee Leffingwell of Austin to proclaim November 19, 2009 as “Georgia Napolitano Day.”

Jam Fest Celebrates Austin's Youth

The Third Annual Jam Fest will take place at the Belmont on Saturday, November 14th from 3 to 7 pm. Seven bands ranging in age from 10-18 are scheduled to take one of two stages that will be set up for the 5-hour event and fundraiser for Eanes Education Foundation. The event is sponsored by The Kids are Alright Festival and Dr. Randy Kunik, the originator of the first event.

Mayor of Austin proclaims Nov 19th Georgia Napolitano Day

AUSTIN - November 19, 2009 will be proclaimed Georgia Napolitano Day in Austin, Texas by the Austin Mayor. Georgia is scheduled to perform a song in the council chambers at City Hall at approximately 5:30 p.m and after her performance in front of the Mayor and Council members Georgia will receive a Proclamation. The City Council meetings air live on Cable Channel 6, so tell all your family, friends and supporters to watch and don’t forget to set your DVR! Your CD and other materials will be archived at City Hall along with all other musicians honored with a proclamation.

1st Teens4Autism Concert AMAZING!!

The Austin Music Hall was the venue for the inagural Teens4Austim concert. It was the most incredible night of entertainment from teen bands and special guest Sam Debold. Parents and kids danced the night away and the atmosphere was electric. Thank you to everyone that made it possible and we look forward to seeing you again for bigger and better event next year.

Georgia Napolitano appears on Fox TV to promote Teens4Autism

Georgia and the Boys (her band) are delighted that they were invited to perform on the morning show on Fox TV from 7am - 9am Friday August 28th. This is an amazing opportunity to spread the word about Teens4Autism and the up and coming concert.

Napolitano Lends Voice to Autistic Children

Georgia Napolitano has never had a problem finding a voice for the world. The 17-year-old former Westlake High School student was born to sing.

She won the Spanish Pop Idol competition when she was 10, and she’s performed live gigs since she was 12. Blender Magazine has already run a feature on her. At 15, she performed the national anthem at Fenway Park in front of 40,000 baseball fans. She’s recorded original songs at the legendary Mayfair studios in London.

Georgia wins semi finals of the Fame Talent Search

ARLINGTON — A happy state of shock overtook 17-year-old Georgia Napolitano from Austin on Sunday, who was crowned the winner of the Fame National Talent Search at Six Flags Over Texas. She kept repeating, “I can’t believe it,” and promised to wear better shoes to the finals, as that was the judges’ only criticism of her.

Georgia will move on with six other finalists (which were chosen from other Six Flags locations) to compete in the final competition September 5.

I want to thank Fox TV in Austin for believing in me and choosing me as the 2009 Austin Idol.
